The house is designed for comfort, quiet and rest, and it welcomes families and pets too. From the garden you can watch wildlife in its natural habitat.

Our story

A family tradition…

The Chavarría-Guerrero family, of Costa Rican and Italian roots, built Casa di Pietra to host their own. Today they open the door to you.

1998
The family moves from Costa Rica to Panama.
2003
They settle in El Valle de Antón and remodel a small house.
2007
Visiting family from Costa Rica no longer fit, so they reclaim a wet part of the land, with several springs, and build the stone house to host them. Casa di Pietra is born.

How do I book?

Is breakfast included?

Yes. It is served every day from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and includes coffee or tea, orange juice, artisan bread from El Valle, and eggs any style or pancakes.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, we are pet friendly. Let us know in your WhatsApp message that you are travelling with your pet so we can prepare for your arrival.

What do the rooms have?

We have six rooms, each with a private bathroom, a balcony and views in every direction. Rooms 1 and 2 are connected by a large balcony, ideal for families. Room 3 has two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a half bathroom, and is also ideal for families.

How do I get to Casa di Pietra?

We are an hour and a half from Panama City, by car or bus. The address is Aires del Gaital, Calle los Guayacanes 46, El Valle de Antón, Coclé.
